“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3
For the first time in a long time… I feel good.
Like actually good.
Not pretending, not performing — just grounded.
I’m still working a job I don’t love.
Still away from my family more than I want to be.
Still waiting for Thorn & Grace inventory to land so we can really move.
But here’s the shift: I’m not dreading it anymore.
I’m attacking it.
I’m waking up with vision, not just frustration.
Because I finally realized —
This part matters too.
We want the platform. The moment. The growth.
But what if God is using this season to strengthen the foundation?
What if this quiet obedience is the reason the next season doesn’t fall apart?
Before all this, I measured my life by how “together” it looked.
By how busy I was.
By what people thought of me.
By how many distractions I could stack to avoid sitting still.
But that kind of hustle left me burnt out, fake happy, and spiritually dry.
Now I’m learning to measure things differently:
Did I give today to God?
Did I move in obedience even when no one saw it?
Did I act like someone who’s already been chosen?
Because that’s the heart behind Thorn & Grace and The Collective:
To grow together.
Not just when it’s shiny and successful —
but in the middle of the mundane.
When it’s quiet.
When it feels like nothing is moving… but God is.
3 Reminders for the Season You’re In:
- You’re not behind — you’re being built.
God isn’t in a rush. He’s into roots. - Work your “now” like it’s your “next.”
The breakthrough often comes after the obedience, not before. - You’re not doing this alone.
The Collective isn’t a fan club. It’s a family.
We rise together.
Today’s Prayer
God, thank You for reminding me that momentum doesn’t always look like motion. Help me commit my work to You — even the parts I don’t like. Establish the plans I can’t see yet. Strengthen me to keep showing up in faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
We need your help.
If this moved you — please don’t scroll past it.
Share it. Tag a friend. Send it to someone who needs it.
We’re trying to build something real here. Something holy.
A movement that makes Jesus impossible to ignore.
But we can’t grow this alone.
We need The Collective to move with us.
This isn’t just a brand. This is revival.
Let’s push it forward — together.
