He Doesn’t Just Love You. He Chose You.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…” — Romans 1:16

Let me tell you something most people don’t realize:

God didn’t just love you in theory.

He chose you on purpose.

Before you got your act together.

Before you knew how to pray.

Before you even believed in Him fully…

He saw you.

And still said, “That one’s Mine.”

This verse from John 15 isn’t just a sweet encouragement.

It’s a wake-up call.

Jesus is looking His disciples in the eye and saying,

“You didn’t pick Me. I picked you. And I picked you for a purpose.”

Let me share a story.

A guy reached out to me a while back, struggling bad.

He had walked through addiction, ruined relationships, and barely believed in himself anymore.

He kept saying, “I don’t know how God could use someone like me. I’ve done too much.”

And I told him something I wish someone had told me earlier in life:

“God doesn’t choose people after they qualify. He qualifies the people He already chose.”

You think Jesus was surprised by your brokenness?

By your past?

By your hesitation?

He knew everything.

And He still said yes.

You weren’t just invited to the table.

You were appointed to bear fruit.

Lasting fruit. Fruit that shifts atmospheres and changes lives.

But you won’t walk in that if you keep carrying a rejected identity.

Listen —

You are not tolerated.

You are not a burden.

You are not some side project God reluctantly picked up.

You are chosen.

Chosen knowing the mess.

Chosen knowing the doubt.

Chosen knowing how many times you’d fall and get back up.

And I know firsthand — the moment you finally believe that?

Everything changes.

You stop walking timid.

You stop apologizing for your faith.

You stop shrinking around people who don’t understand your calling.

You start standing taller.

You start thinking bigger.

You start walking like someone who knows they’ve been handpicked by Heaven.

So let me ask you this:

Are you living like someone who’s chosen?

Or like someone who’s just barely accepted?

Because I promise — the fruit you were meant to bear?

It doesn’t come from striving.

It comes from believing you’re appointed.

You don’t have to try to “earn your place” in the Kingdom.

You have a place — because Jesus gave it to you.

Now walk in it.

Hold this truth today,

God didn’t just save you — He appointed you.

You are not random.

You’re marked.

You were chosen to bear fruit that lasts.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where in your life are you still living like someone trying to be accepted, instead of someone who’s already chosen?
  2. What would change if you fully believed God picked you knowing your past?
  3. What’s one area this week where you can walk more boldly, because you know you’re appointed?

Pray with us…

Jesus, thank You for choosing me — not after I earned it, but right in the middle of my mess. Thank You for seeing the real me and still saying yes. Help me live like someone who’s chosen. Break off the mindset that says I’m not enough. Use my life to bear fruit that actually lasts. I want to walk in confidence — not in myself, but in Your grace. In Your name, amen.

Love you guys.

Walk bold today.

You were never meant to blend in — you were made to bear fruit and shake hell.

You’re chosen. Walk like it.
